When a passenger requests transportation, SwiftMed may share information reasonably necessary for the participating Transportation Provider to evaluate, accept, coordinate, and complete therequested transportation.

SwiftMed does not authorize Transportation Providers to use passenger information for unrelated purposes.

SwiftMed may use third-party companies to provide services necessary to operate the Platform.

SwiftMed uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No website, application, database, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should immediately notify SwiftMed of suspected unauthorized account access.

SwiftMed is a transportation technology platform and is not intended to function as a medical-record system.

SwiftMed may receive information concerning a passenger’s transportation or mobility needs.
Whether information handled by SwiftMed constitutes protected health information (“PHI”) under HIPAA depends on the specific circumstances and relationship between SwiftMed, the passenger, theTransportation Provider, and any healthcare organization involved.
Where SwiftMed acts as a business associate of a HIPAA-covered entity or another business associate, applicable HIPAA requirements and contractual obligations, including a Business AssociateAgreement where required, may apply.
SwiftMed will handle information in accordance with applicable federal and state privacy laws and contractual requirements.
18- TRANSPORTATION PROVIDER PRIVACY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation Providers using SwiftMed may receive passenger information necessary to perform transportation services.
Providers must:
● Use passenger information only for legitimate transportation-related purposes
● Protect passenger information against unauthorized access
● Follow applicable privacy and confidentiality laws
● Restrict access to authorized personnel
● Maintain appropriate security safeguards
● Properly dispose of information when required.
Transportation Providers may have additional privacy obligations under applicable federal, state, and local laws.
19- DATA BREACHES AND SECURITY INCIDENTS
If SwiftMed determines that a security incident requires notification under applicable law, SwiftMed will provide notice in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

SwiftMed is not responsible for transportation problems caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by a user.
28- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
SwiftMed may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
When changes are made, SwiftMed may update the “Effective Date” at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
Where required by law, SwiftMed will provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Platform after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law.
