SwiftMed Driver Policy & Agreement
This Driver Policy & Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your participation as an independent driver (“Driver”) on the SwiftMed platform (“Platform”). By accepting this Agreement and using the Platform, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Independent Contractor Status
• Drivers are independent contractors.
• SwiftMed is a technology platform only and does not provide medical services.
• Drivers are not employees, agents, or representatives of SwiftMed.
• Drivers are responsible for all taxes, insurance, licenses, and expenses associated with operating their vehicle.
2. Driver Requirements
To participate on the Platform, Drivers must:
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Own or have access to a suitable vehicle for the type of service provided (ambulatory, wheelchair-accessible, or stretcher-capable).
• Maintain valid auto insurance as required by law.
• Pass Background and Screening tests
• Must have a valid permit to provide the type of Service in the location
3. Vehicle & Safety Standards
• Vehicles must meet safety and accessibility requirements for the selected service type.
• Drivers must perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• All equipment (wheelchairs, stretcher restraints, ramps) must be properly maintained.
• SwiftMed reserves the right to remove drivers with unsafe vehicles or non-compliance issues.
4. Ride Conduct & Professionalism
Drivers must:
• Provide courteous, professional, and safe service.
• Assist passengers as required (helping in/out of vehicles, securing wheelchairs, or stretchers).
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Refrain from using mobile devices while driving (except for SwiftMed app functions).
• Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
5. Booking & Payment
• Drivers will receive ride requests via the SwiftMed app.
• SwiftMed determines fare calculations and handles payment processing.
• Drivers will receive earnings according to SwiftMed’s payment schedule.
• Drivers are prohibited from requesting payments outside the Platform.
6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
• Drivers must adhere to SwiftMed’s cancellation policies.
• Excessive cancellations or no-shows may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
• SwiftMed reserves the right to reassign rides to other drivers when necessary.
7. Privacy & Data Use
• Drivers must respect the privacy of all passengers.
• Driver activity and personal information will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with SwiftMed’s Privacy Policy.
• Drivers are prohibited from sharing passenger information outside the scope of the ride.
8. Insurance & Liability
• Drivers are responsible for maintaining all required insurance coverage.
• SwiftMed is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during a ride.
• Drivers agree to indemnify SwiftMed for claims resulting from their actions or negligence while providing services.
9. Termination
SwiftMed may suspend or terminate a driver’s access to the Platform for:
• Violation of this Agreement or Platform rules
• Unsafe driving or vehicle conditions
• Fraudulent activity or misconduct
• Failure to maintain required licenses or insurance
Drivers may terminate this Agreement at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform and notifying SwiftMed.
10. Acknowledgment
By using the SwiftMed Platform as a driver, you acknowledge that you:
• Understand and agree to the terms of this Agreement
• Are participating as an independent contractor
• Accept responsibility for your own actions, compliance, and vehicle
• Agree to maintain passenger safety, professionalism, and privacy
